Cloud Reboot

Just read what Sam wrote (excellent comment btw) as I was about to take this drawing further.  Scratch that idea now...I'll have to erase the Square/Enix Cloud from my memory, and give him a complete overhaul.

FF VII : Cloud Sketch

Just trying to get in on the fun!  Never played Final Fantasy, and I was much too lazy to look up the script.  Naturally I took the shortcut and looked at online images of the main character, Cloud to get an idea what he looks like. But maybe it's a bad thing...cuz I can't seem to break away from that blond spiky hair of his...Anyway, here's some quick sketches of him.  I'd like to spend more time and do a real redesign of him once I get a chance.

Project Underwater

 Sam was talking something about underwater over last weekend.  So here are some of the sketches I've came up with.  They look more "spacey" than underwater though... And pardon me with the image quality...I took them pics with my phone.

Doodled this at cafe with Will tonight.  Don't really know what it is?  We'll just dub him as Orcus for now...

Painted over the line drawing.  I am not particular fond of this method.  Feels like I'm paint pushing rather than designing.  Nevertheless it's one method I suppose...

Entertainment Design Revist
