Talon Greyfeather Designs

Here's my Talon Greyfeather design.  Not sure any of these costumes necessarily say "pirate" but I do kind of like some of the outfits.  Opinions?

  1. Nice! These outfits are fun! I like 'em a lot. They don't necessary shout out "pirate," but do we need to revolve our designs via the stereotypical "pirate?" Can't we just take the literal "pirate" definition: a person who attacks and robs ships at sea" And go from there?

  2. Yeah, I think that's a pretty fair point...I mean, it's a non-Earth fantasy world and the ships aren't even sailing on water...So I say go nuts!

Do you prefer any of the outfits to the others? I like the top R and bottom L best, I think...Maybe bottom R, also.

  3. Bottom Left definitely shout out at me the most. But I also like the simplicity of top left and perhaps top middle.

  4. Yeah about the pirate thing. Yes, they are pirates, but 18th century Carribbean pirates. The whole setting is somewhere between medieval fantasy and steampunk, so like Sam said, go nuts.

Also Sam, I the tunic from the bottom left one, but I like the dark pants of the top right.

  5. I think you mixed human and bird anatomy pretty well here. The costumes are cool, but figure out how to add pirate elements to 'em. Is there a way, for example, to get a black, knee-high boot on this guy?

  6. Yikes! I think boots are a deal-breaker with those bird feet!! But I do like the belts and straps that the top R one has...Might be worth exploring that?
